Missing teeth create unsightly black spaces in the smile and can also cause problems with chewing. A bridge replaces missing teeth by fixing the replacement teeth to the natural teeth at each end of the gap.

 

A gap can also be restored by surgically positioning a titanium post in the jaw to replace the root of the tooth. After the implant is placed into the underlying bone, a ceramic tooth is attached to it enabling normal aesthetics and function.
